How to grow a Honey Bee Garden

    The bees would attract towards the garden if we find out that you have grown their favorite flowers. Bee loves wildflowers, flowering herbs, and many flowering fruits and vegetables too. You need to group these plants close to each other so that they can be a perfect bee attractor for the bees.
  3. Choose the plants with long blooming cycles
    If you pick the plants with long blooming cycles or the plants with successive blooms, then you will be able to attract the bees again and again.
  4. Do not use Pesticides or chemicals
    Pesticides and chemicals are toxic for the bees and that’s why they left their first habitat. All these chemicals will kill the important pollinators and also harms the soil if the gardener uses this excessively.
  5. Providing a water source
    Bees would be attracted if they find a fresh water source in your garden as bees and butterflies always look for a habitat in which they can find all the necessary things around them.

Which plants attract the bees?

There are many plants that you can plant if you want to attract some bees and also according to the season like:

  • Choose plants that bloom in the summer, spring, and autumn seasons so that you can be able to feed the honeybees and attract them throughout the blooming time.
  • For the spring season, you can choose Tulip, Chives, and Rosemary.
  • For the summer season, you can go for the Borage, Sage, lavender, Basil, and Phlox.
  • For the autumn season, choose plants like Topinambour or Jerusalem artichoke and Chrysanthemum.
