Material you need

  • Garden Towel
  • Watering Can
  • Planting containers approx 3-inches
  • Seeds
  • Plastic wrap for moisture
  • Plant labels
  • Soilless seed-starting mix

Steps to be followed:

  • To get started, remoisten the soilless seed starter mix by adding warm water into it. Blend the soil until it is not damp.
  • Now fill the containers with seed and start mixing. One must keep in mind not pack the container too tight, it may cause drainage issues. Set the container into a watertight dip tray.
  • Add seeds in the containers and ensure the surface is entirely filled. Keep the distance of ¼ inch in each seed.
  • Cover the seeds with vermiculture. This is mineral based material that quickly absorbs the water and releases it slowly. Ensure you have damped the seeds not too dry and wet.
  • Shower the water slowly in the container. Use watering spray to avoid excess water.
  • Now cover the plants with a lightweight sheet to avoid pests and humidity.
  • Care for your plants regularly and keep the garden well-maintained.
